Out of four of us, three had substandard meals. The prawn cocktails comprised of the tiniest 'prawns' in the world, the sauce made it inedible. Thin, watery and tasted of vinegar. Both of us who ordered it left nearly all, but when our plates were (finally) collected the waiter didn't ask why the food was still on them. the puddings were just as bad. As for the service - there were more waiting staff than diners, yet they all stood in a group chatting all evening and we felt we received less service than we would have done had they been busy. However, when we did go up to get a waiter to serve us, each time they were very pleasant!! Normally would have said something at the time, but it was supposed to be a special outing and so none of us wanted to make a fuss. Have been going there for years and years but won't be returning.
